European Commission vetoes proposed ban on cadmium in paint

The Official Journal of the European Union announced the termination of the restriction process of placing on the market and use of cadmium in paint proposed by Sweden on October 28. So the proposed restriction is vetoed by the European Union in light of opinions of parties concerned to it.
 
Reminder: For EU exporters, product test are of priority for compliance of Annex XVII to REACH regulation to make sure the export process.
